Iv bought this twice now and both times it came in healthy and hitchhiker free. Even without any fertilizers its stayed pretty healthy in my turtle and fish tanks.Iv heard some people get snails in their order and if i remember correctly someone said they are usually mystery snails which actually eat algae and other gunk in your tank so dont panic if you see them the worst they are doing is eating a bit of your moss. Dont want them just toss em outside or near a pond/lake and wash your moss if your worried.
