Bought this swimsuit for our 9, almost 10 year old granddaughter who no longer fits into kids sizes. This is an extra large…let that sink in…an extra large. Our granddaughter is 4’9 and 131 pounds. It’s very difficult to find a swimsuit she likes in a kids 18/20 plus so we went with a Womens swimsuit. She wears a small in a Womens tee-shirt so I ordered a small at first. Lol…yeah, no that did not work at all. 2nd suit ordered was a medium, again a no. Third suit…a large, it fit, barely. So extra large was number 4. The extra large fits her COMFORTABLY. She loves the suit. It does have a little bit of stretch to it. It has the removable modesty pads in the sewn in bra. I removed those, she’s 9, doesn’t need them at this stage. It’s a lovely modest suit for tween. The shorts can be made shorter for someone older with the ties on the sides. She loves it, it fits to Grandmas standards so I’m calling it a win…finally. Size up folks, you won’t be sorry.
