I love these headbands! Isn't it the slippery nylon material, but rather cotton and maybe viscose? It's soft and has a wire on the bow so you can style it however you like. I bought these headbands for my daughters ages 6 and 10 but I also tried them on to see if they were too tight for me. They're perfect for all of us, although I personally don't wear them. The colors are plentiful and can be paired with cute outfits at any time of the year or used in makeup (I'll probably just use them for that purpose). They come individually wrapped and come with a brown hair tie as a bonus which my 6 year old loves. I can't confirm how they hold up in the wash but I read other reviews where a customer used a mesh bag which is a great idea. Simply wash with similar colors. I'm sure they will hold up great!
