This type of stand with a very stable base is hard to find. While it barely fits on my large Rode NT2A, it does hold it in place without tipping over, unlike my other coasters with heavier round bases. But I'd happily pay $25-30 for a stand with heavier metal parts. The microphone mount is made entirely of plastic, including the neck that supports the boom weight. I'm afraid that stress may crack and break it over time. The telescoping portion (adjustable stand) does not have the standard 5/8" thread found on most mic stands because the stand is too narrow to accommodate a 5/8" thread. However, everything works together with the included adapter. Despite the cropped corners, I would still recommend this stand, especially if your mic stays within the advertised width and weight limits.
