Description of InnoGear Microphone Adjustable Broadcast Reacording

Compact and Weighted Base: With 4.3"x4.7" base, InnoGear desk microphone stand doesn't taking up much space. The base is weighted 1.32lbs for MAX load 3.3lbs when using heavier microphones that need additional balance. It is constructed of heavy-duty steel for long-term performance. Triangle Gravity Design: Unlike other mic stand with central gravity, InnoGear table mic stand provides more stability and precise balance to keep microphone from topple-over. Adjustable Height: This stand measures 10.2 inches in height and is adjustable up to 15 inches to allow for optimal mic positioning. Compatibility: Package includes 3/8" and 5/8" adapter, making it compatible with many microphones like Blue Yeti, Blue Snowball, AT2020, AT2020USB+, AT2035, ATR2500-USB, ATR2100-USB, etc. High Quality Shock Mount: It can protect your microphone all-around with high elasticity wrap roping desigh and reduce vibrations from traveling into the microphone. Please noted the shock mount is not fit for Blue Yeti.

Good tripod microphone stand

It is solid and does all the declared functions. The fixed mic stand is made for something like a Shure SM58 and I don't think it will hold anything with a much larger stem, but the muffler fits my Blue Bluebird with a little effort. With a heavy condenser mic like mine you'll still try to avoid kickback as much as possible, but it's more balanced than most cheap mic stands.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • thin

Normal for cheap mics but falls off

Having used this stand for a while I would say it's average. It was cheap, which is a plus, but on heavier mics it lacked stability and kept falling over. I wouldn't put an expensive mic in it because the durability just isn't up to par for a mic with a lot of craftsmanship and bulkiness, and you don't want an expensive mic toppling over. Otherwise, it does its job as a desktop stand most of the time.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • There are some downsides

Quality and stability

The reason I bought this stand was the strength of the stand itself. I had an "old school" desktop mic stand that was just obtrusive was and did not allow height adjustment. There are some nifty desktop mics out there. tripods, table mounts. But after looking at the photos of the weight distribution and balance of this microphone, I made the purchase. I wasn't disappointed! It's strong, durable and very portable. The height adjustment is very easy and the sound quality of the microphone itself…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Room for improvement

This type of stand with a very stable base is hard to find. While it barely fits on my large Rode NT2A, it does hold it in place without tipping over, unlike my other coasters with heavier round bases. But I'd happily pay $25-30 for a stand with heavier metal parts. The microphone mount is made entirely of plastic, including the neck that supports the boom weight. I'm afraid that stress may crack and break it over time. The telescoping portion (adjustable stand) does not have the standard 5/8"…

Pros
  • Consistent test results

Great quality, great price, rugged desktop mic stand

Reliable, durable and well built. I bought it to travel with to record in hotel rooms on the go, but the threaded barrel is actually aluminum and the base is some kind of cast steel (iron) rubberized material. I don't think it was meant to be taken apart dozens of times. It seems like the threads will eventually snap and render it unusable if you don't carefully screw it in every time. Otherwise, it's a solid mic stand. If all you want is an adjustable desk mic stand that sticks together, don't

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

What microphones and accessories I need

I used a microphone holder that is attached to the table and has a retractable arm. But that came with the mic when I bought it. It works for as long as possible and I will continue to use it in a variety of scenarios, but it is much more convenient to have the mic on this stand where and how I use it most. In the arm outstretched version, the microphone would be in front of me, but then the arm would prevent me from doing anything on my computer. I had to either climb over it or reach under…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No effect
