All comments about it being too small for 7" are 100% correct so here are some pictures to prove it. Velcro surface 5 in diameter It will stick to the buff but this will cause the surface to become concave so only the outside edge of the pad touches the surface A heavy plastic ring is placed on the buff hook and loop so the pad covers everything else than is flat.I bought this to polish the tile floor in the race deck garage and buying an expensive car looks like I wasted my money.I would never let that touch my car if it wasn't on one 5" pad would be. I believe this is false advertising. Photos are worth a thousand words.
