To be honest I'm very disappointed with it. I received everything as pictured and was excited about this project, but once I started I realized that the overall quality of the product wasn't very good. I don't have much experience with embroidery so I was able to finish this but I wouldn't recommend this kit to anyone who considers themselves a beginner. The template is pretty basic but there are parts I found quite difficult and if I wasn't experienced I would be very disappointed as there was absolutely no guide to help. The instructions provided are VERY unhelpful and although a website is provided for additional help I have to wonder, why the best instructions are not provided firsthand and with the kit. But my main problem with this set is that the main fabric is very thin and not suitable for embroidery. The kit instructions specify a specific number of threads to use for each piece, but the fabric is so thin that using the recommended number of threads will cause the fabric to stretch or wrinkle, and if it too is pulled tight, small holes also form in the fabric very loosely woven. I ended up using half the recommended number of threads to solve this problem that a beginner might not be aware of. so it can make the finished product look very messy. Because the thin base fabric is white and very thin and the yarn colors are very dark, you may see wasted thread on the wrong side and on the right side. So, when I put this on a white wall I actually see some knots or lines on the back that spill over to the front. It makes my finished product look messy and not at all sophisticated. Poor quality generally prevents a beautiful end product, regardless of effort or skill. I would not recommend this set and am very dissatisfied with my purchase. It's very frustrating trying to complete a project and make it beautiful when the poor quality of the product gets in the way.
