UPDATE: Below is my previous review. It only lasted about 3 weeks. Instead I had to use a different product. After a few weeks the remote stopped working. To turn them on and off I have to unplug and plug them back in instead of just using the remote. None of the colors on the remote control match the reproduced colors. The power button turns them red. Half of the buttons don't work, and only after a couple of weeks. There is no way to fix this. Now it's practically garbage. They were great for a short time. I bought another brand which has lasted over 8 months and is in excellent condition. They are cheap ________________ ORIGINAL REVIEW I can't figure out how much light these strips produce. I was concerned that it would not be powerful enough to provide my bedroom with the ambient lighting I needed. I originally used an $86 LED spotlight which I threw away until I found this product. I sent this light back and will be buying another one for the rest of my apartment. I LOVE IT. The strips come with glue and seem to stick very well to the wood my bed is made of. There are some inconsistencies, for example a small section of the light filament may be a different color, but that's easily fixed by simply touching the filament or changing the color. For the price you can't beat it. Buy this product! It was worth it!
