After reading reviews on so many things on Revain I decided on this one hoping I made the right choice. I unpacked it and started it up in about 10 minutes, hooked up to my Ion Game Day speaker for testing. The sound was very good (much better than a wired mic) so my wife and I decided to practice some karaoke. I like the sound quality and volume I have. The next test is hooked up to my Ion Pathfinder (double power) and tested outside. The range of the wireless microphones was excellent and the sound quality remained the same. Performance wise I turned the mics up to around 50% and didn't dare turn the gain above 50% or I got glares from my wife with disposable mic covers and my son's mixer and speaker system on separate ones channels connected. We had to force him to turn the volume down a notch (or 3) and even he was impressed with the sound quality and functionality. He either borrows from us (if we let him) or buys his own to expand his music gear. There's no apparent audio lag, but we didn't record. The only negative I've found is that the mics have a hard time telling if you're on A or B, but colored tape fixes that. Highly recommended for karaoke or any presentation where you need a good microphone connected to your speaker system. Speaker. Even with my Pathfinder I can use it at our nearest town hall, sit in the back of the auditorium and everyone can hear it. I also like the pickup area, didn't need to have the mics close to still be able to transmit. Still in the 1st set of batteries after all that.
