My son and I sorted the parts and labeled each part with letters to make assembly easier. I gave him a digital caliper after making sure he used a ruler and understood length and width. So far we have built a bench and an airplane. I bought him some paint to paint them too. This is a great way to spend a rainy afternoon. He looks forward to showing off the bench he built.
