I use it as a magnifying glass to view photos on my camera in bright sunlight. That's why I don't attach them to my cameras; So I can't comment on how well they attach to the back of the camera. I bought this because I figured the foldable case would take up less room in my camera bag than my hard case versions. I have found that it takes up significantly less space than my other loupes. And while it did a great job of blocking out ambient light so I could check shots for critical focus, exposure, etc., I've found that I prefer the feel of my hard loupes. But if you don't have a magnifying glass for a photo shoot on a sunny day, grab this one. it works and it's cheap.
