I bought these for my stable to use during power outages. The quality of the material is what I expected for the price and after a first evaluation I would say that it is suitable for my use. It's not easy to feed while trying to hold a flashlight in one hand to light the way. Our coop is 30ft by 60ft and just to see how much area one small light can illuminate I hung one at the end of the center aisle and there is enough light for about 3/4 the length of the aisle and one beam , which is wide enough for light to enter the cabins. A small flashlight provides enough light so I can do chores without holding a flashlight. I bought Duracell brand AAA batteries, I think I've had the best luck with this brand, so we'll see how the batteries hold up as winter approaches. If we don't have a power outage, the puck LED won't light up for a few hours, but I know battery life can drain faster in cold temperatures. I also bought one of the Findyouled Solar Outdoor Flood Lights with an extra 16ft cord to hang them over the sidewalk so I think I should be well prepared for a power outage now and they will serve as a safety/ Acting night light in the barn.
