I see a lot of confusion in reviews around 60Hz in 4k. The monitor can do that, I'm working on that at the moment. My 2019 MacBook Pro setup Working with HP USB-C "The Cube" document. Simply plugging in a displayport (HDMI isn't good for 4K) from a docking station (which supports 5 simultaneous 4K displays at 60Hz) didn't work right away. The solution was to switch to on-screen display monitors and set DisplayPort "DP" version 1.1 instead of the default 1.2. But. back then it was 4K at 30Hz. It actually looked great, but that's not the point, it has to support 60Hz. So my solution: Buy a $15 USB-C -> Displayport cable, make sure it supports 60Hz at 4K (mine was highly rated by QGeeM and Amazon). When I plugged it in I was still running at 30Hz but resetting the screen to DP 1.2 using the on screen display got me back to 4K at 60Hz. The screen looks well made and very well packaged. I've been watching it on my desktop (it's great to have a big screen when I'm on a conference call) and I'm looking at spreadsheets, web pages and email most of the time 8 hours a day. No headaches or eyestrain, so a win!
