This SSD has components and is not flat. So the SSD does not slip into the slot. Neither the description nor the pictures show that it is not flat. I've seen a couple of 42mm NVMe SSDs for around $80 that appear flat but unfortunately cost twice as much. Then it would probably be cheaper to simply upgrade my existing 256GB SSD to a 512GB SSD for less money.
