I've been in 3 car accidents in the last 5 years. I have extensive damage to my cervix and bought this pillow after much research to properly support my neck after rotator cuff surgery as I will be sleeping sitting up for a few weeks. I haven't had surgery yet, but I already use this pillow all the time! Tomorrow I have a cervical nerve fusion and 3 days before the procedure (7 days before my shoulder surgery!) I can't take any blood thinners. So no anti-inflammatory. This gives me terrible pain and it is almost impossible to sleep as every slight tilt of the neck hurts.
