Great potential but disappointing fit
I am a long time NB customer. All shoes were great. These are my least favorites. I wear orthotics and NB 1080 running shoes and the variety of walking shoes are fantastic. These 996 pumps have a lot of potential BUT of the two pairs I have BOTH that dig into the top of the foot due to the hard plastic strap along the bottom of the laces. I bought this pair almost two years after the first pair in hopes that NB would fix this issue. Not correct. I play pickleball several times a week. This problem will NOT be solved by breaking in shoes. I can wear them for less than two hours. Please fix this design flaw NB!
