This belt is ideal for resin work. Epoxy will not stick to this tape. I have been restoring this 200 year old wooden gate from India for a few months. To get to this point I have: Removed eons of old finish that has become blackened and cracked. All original hand-carved details are preserved. Remove any rotted wood and fill in the voids with sea sap of a suitable color. This step required this tape and it worked great. As these gates continue their life in exposed elements I use all marine grade products. After countless hours of sanding these doors, I finally got around to applying the multi-step finish. It was coated with the first coat of Waterlox Abrasive Sealer. I like to show the colors and textures of the wood. Very satisfied.
