Great product at a great price

Compared to the Tyvec equivalent, Tuck Tape is the best product I've come across. I use it to control pouring epoxy when working with wood instead of gluing home tape, but I think it sticks better than Tyvec.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • No performance

Found this in Canada where it's widely available in stores HW

Costs twice as much as duct tape but well worth it. The role is always at hand. It has better adhesion (stronger glue) and more flexibility. At least twice as good. Slightly better than duck tape, which is thick, heavy, and has messy adhesive. Find.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Minor issues

Nice thin band. Very clumsy

Very good, the adhesive on the adhesive tape is just great. Much thinner than Tyvek tape. I plan to use this tape inside as a vapor barrier and it works well. Tyvek is used outside. Tyvek tape never comes off, maybe it's the same thing. The thinness of these tapes allows for good sewing of 6mm polyethylene, otherwise I wouldn't be sure. Overall I'm glad I found it and it works for my purpose.

Pros
  • Noble design
Cons
  • Expensive

Surprised by all the positive reviews

I buy mainly because of the positive reviews and Tuck Tape has so many rave reviews. I have used this vapor barrier tape exclusively over new 10 mil clear polyethylene plastic seams. It was pretty easy to use. Unfortunately, just one week after the application, so many areas have come loose that air containing radon can flow through. My surface is clean and the humidity is 50%. I'm surprised this tape failed. Next time I'll glue a special vapor barrier tape for the seams.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Not pure white, logo stamped all over the band

Works although I think it could be thicker. Halfway through the roll, it becomes increasingly difficult to take the roll off and split it down the middle, creating a lot of waste. He also says he is white but he is milk white and not hard and a sire. A logo is embossed on it. I tried this on white insulation in my garage and ended up with plain white walls instead it looks like an ad for a duct tape company. I paid for a cassette I shouldn't be promoting.

  • Doping 🔥

  • Some little things

AMAZING tape for your project

In fact it sticks very well and I highly recommend it. I used it to seal the insulation in my cabin and the gaps around the outlets and switches. The tape sticks like no other. Really amazing. It also appears to be very durable and so far has not been affected by the heat in the unfinished closed building. It also makes a huge difference as there is more tape in the roll than any other brand I use which saves me money. I understand they also make a blue version which is even better, but I see…

Works great with resin projects

This belt is ideal for resin work. Epoxy will not stick to this tape. I have been restoring this 200 year old wooden gate from India for a few months. To get to this point I have: Removed eons of old finish that has become blackened and cracked. All original hand-carved details are preserved. Remove any rotted wood and fill in the voids with sea sap of a suitable color. This step required this tape and it worked great. As these gates continue their life in exposed elements I use all marine…

Great Tape: Tapes

I bought this tape after reading about it on a horse blog. My horse has a wound on his thigh that has gotten very big and won't heal because he lies on it every night and it gets caked with sawdust and becomes infected. Since it is the hip, it is almost impossible to wear a bandage. After reading about this thread I decided to give it a try. It was a bit tricky at first and didn't seem to stick as I had hoped. I found that he wasn't sticky because there was oil and medicine on his hair which…
