I bought this tape after reading about it on a horse blog. My horse has a wound on his thigh that has gotten very big and won't heal because he lies on it every night and it gets caked with sawdust and becomes infected. Since it is the hip, it is almost impossible to wear a bandage. After reading about this thread I decided to give it a try. It was a bit tricky at first and didn't seem to stick as I had hoped. I found that he wasn't sticky because there was oil and medicine on his hair which prevented good adhesion. I washed his thigh with soap and water and tried again. WOW I was surprised the bandage lasted all night. I can put a medical bandage on every night and take it off in the morning to let it air out. Since he only sleeps at night, it was perfect. I've been bandaging him daily for a month and his wound is healing very well and I'm so happy. The wound was so bad I even thought I might have to put him down. I couldn't be happier with the way he's doing it. If you have a horse or other animal that needs to be tied, I recommend this tape. The roll is huge and although I used it every night there was at least half a roll left.
