Review on Proster 3x1 HDMI Switch with Audio Extractor: 4K HDMI Switcher, PIP IR Remote, and Audio Converter with 3.5mm to 2 RCA Cable by Noah Smith

Excellent device. I bought it to stream audio from my Chromecast to my sound system via an optical connection. It works like a charm if it turns on normally. I hooked it up to my TV and it worked great straight away. When I turn the TV on and off, the device follows accordingly. The problem is that it has been off for more than an hour. I'm not sure why, but if the device has been off for a long period of time it won't turn back on when the TV is turned on. It's only when I unplug all the HDMI cables going into the unit, then unplug the power cord and plug it back in, that it turns back on. At first I thought it was the TV not giving it enough power so I gave it my own power supply rated for its specific voltage and I had the same problem. As a result, I have to keep disconnecting and reconnecting cables to the device for it to work. Apart from this problem, the device works perfectly.
