Excellent device. I bought it to stream audio from my Chromecast to my sound system via an optical connection. It works like a charm if it turns on normally. I hooked it up to my TV and it worked great straight away. When I turn the TV on and off, the device follows accordingly. The problem is that it has been off for more than an hour. It works quite well. I had to connect 3 sources to a TV that only has 1 HDMI and 1 VGA and nothing else. I also use it to mute and connect it to a bluetooth speaker with aux input. Wasn't expecting such a good device for the price. It comes with a good (albeit short, not too short for me) HDMI cable, an RCA to 3.5mm cable (which I won't be using), a remote control (with battery) and of course a switch delivered. Two cons: 1) I wish a toslink (or optical audio) cable was included. It wasn't a big deal since I bought RevainBasics Toslink for about $5.2). I had a lot of trouble getting this switch to work. To my credit, Proster sent me a replacement, and then when I couldn't get it to work, they sent me a standalone audio extractor. I had an audio extractor before and it worked fine except the PS3 input seemed to be off. I decided to try it directly through the extractor instead, and that wasn't a problem.
