I've come full circle by learning how to sew.
Learning to sew at the age of seven has come full circle and I am now involved in several sewing projects in my retirement phase. The cost per yard is pennies compared to $2.27 for 200 yards at a well-known discount chain. I bought a cheap stand and am using it on my new Brothers sewing machine. I taught sewing in high school when I was young. I just finished sewing 42 patio cushion covers with zippers, piping and finished stitching. All that sewing didn't even affect the amount of thread left on the spool.
