I had a different model (3200). A few days before the end of the warranty, the latch for the batteries on the mouse broke (I did not drop it, I handled it carefully). I contacted Logitech support with a request to get this part through the service center. I secretly hoped that they would change the mouse - somehow it peeled off a long time ago. What was my surprise when, within 5 days (bear in mind, just before the New Year, when everyone has a very busy time), they sent me a complete set of keyboard + mouse and even a new model. That's what they call a good company.
