Review on πŸ”§ Tenacious Patches by Gear Aid - Optimal Results for Repairing Gear by Jonathan Wilson

Fixed my polyester overalls

Okay, so. I don't have "camping gear" or "tubes" or anything, but I do have a favorite coverall with a pretty big hole right in the seam running down my butt. The problem is that it's 100% polyester and I don't know how to use a sewing machine. I haven't been able to find a fabric glue that works for this, and in general my experience with fabric glue isn't great. And iron-on patches are also not suitable for polyester. BUT THAT. All said he repaired their "gear," and many of them were made of polyester or other plastics. I just patched the tear from the inside and overlapped the sides so it closed and the patch adhered very well to the fabric. Because it sits right on top of the seam, it blends in beautifully. I did some pull tests with it and it seems pretty strong. I wore it to a wedding this weekend so I'll let you know how it holds up!
