Ideal for repairing gazebos

I use this for various small holes in my gazebo near seams and corners. The tape is very rubbery on the open side and presented a small problem when the tape came into contact with the pop up tent frame. Where it touched the frame it tended to chip off. In other areas where I've applied directly to a tent that wasn't touching anything, it has worked amazingly. They are easy to cut and apply and seem to stick very well. Fixed my polyester overalls

Okay, so. I don't have "camping gear" or "tubes" or anything, but I do have a favorite coverall with a pretty big hole right in the seam running down my butt. The problem is that it's 100% polyester and I don't know how to use a sewing machine. I haven't been able to find a fabric glue that works for this, and in general my experience with fabric glue isn't great. And iron-on patches are also not suitable for polyester. BUT THAT. Extremely visible on Columbia's light blue winter jacket.

My son tore the sleeve of his light blue Columbia winter jacket. I read many reviews on many products before deciding on this Tenacious Flexible Patch. I agree that the backing is very difficult to remove, so it's almost impossible not to leave fingerprints. In addition, it is not visible on the product. I was hoping it would be like magic tape that disappears from the box. Not even close. While I would recommend it for floats, tents, and other items, I wouldn't recommend it for portable items…
