I bought my bike used and it came with Kury ISO grips and the original (small) throttle 6520. I got along with it but always felt it was too small, to wear it comfortably for longer hours. After a while I almost thought he was going to dig into my palm. After a long day of skiing I had enough. I started researching some of those cheap plastic throttle bodies. They all looked ugly, but the extra length and width made me think they would be more comfortable in the long run. Then I discovered that Kuri had made an "XL" size throttle body, model 6299, called the Countoured Paddle. YES! I couldn't be happier! It's a good size with enough room for your palm to rest comfortably on the handlebars for many hours of cramp-free riding. It cost a little more than those plastic wraps, but the looks and build quality made it worth it! I highly recommend upgrading to the 6299 Throttle Boss Countoured Paddle if you need more paddle surface to make long rides easier. I am attaching a photo of the Countoured paddle mounted on my throttle.
