I bought this case as soon as I got my Acer Chromebook 11 C740-C4PE (great match for this model!) shortly after TUMP! BOOM! Every time my Chromebook slid off my bed, I opened it with a lump in my stomach, only to find it worked like nothing had happened. The body itself is nearly indestructible. Year after day (and countless 2-foot drops) the tiny corner eventually broke off, but it still fits great. Speaking of fit, this case snaps securely into place. You won't find it popping out at a random, inopportune moment, but it detaches easily enough if you apply enough force to the right area. the best, incredibly insecure or suffering from some kind of major visual aesthetic disability. My violet case, especially when paired with a black notebook, makes her chic, unique and subtle yet elegantly feminine. In study groups or gatherings where everyone else is gray or black, no one is going to accidentally grab your laptop (and vice versa), and it's easy to find. The difference in size and weight is negligible. The only "minus" applies to all these types of cases. If liquid is spilled, especially something sticky, remove the cover immediately. Otherwise, the liquid will get caught between the case and the laptop and get into important components. Imagine Mountain Dew drying out on your CPU fan and solidifying into a viscous, gooey, gel-like substance. Removing such things (if your laptop survived!) requires either a hefty repair fee — unless they find it too gross to work with — or heavy component disassembly and grueling — albeit delicate — cleaning. worth every penny!
