I have a battery that I usually take with me on trips and hikes; It's heavy, rolls all over the trunk and needs charging. This air compressor, on the other hand, is lightweight, portable, and easy to use. Ideal for storing in the trunk for everyday use. My favorite part is the ability to adjust the PSI you want. I no longer have to sit in the car to check the tire pressure monitor. The digital screen is easy to read, unlike a tire pressure gauge. The manual recommends using it continuously for no more than 8 minutes to avoid overheating. This time is enough as it fills my tires fast enough. The air compressor also comes with 3 nozzles. The only thing I wish was that it came with a pouch/bag to keep things together and a compressor to keep it from scratching. Still, I would recommend this air compressor.
