Very Good Time

EXTREMELY pleased with this slide. I had a 2003 Dodge Ram truck with a badly worn leather steering wheel. There was nothing to fix. Stumbled upon it and became curious. Try it for $10. Competitor sells for over $60! My wheel was carefully measured and I was between "M" and "M-". Based on another customer, I decided on size "M". Fits perfectly. I watched a few YouTube videos and took the time to do the baseball style stitch. I'm thrilled with the results. Now I smile every time I put my hands on the steering wheel. Looks almost factory. A few notes on my build: - I was concerned that I would have to go and find another needle as the traditional baseball stitch uses two needles crossed back and forth, but I was pleasantly surprised that it comes with two needles and two wraps. thread. -Only one thread was needed to make my entire steering wheel. -Be sure to wear gloves or some kind of finger guard. When things get tough you really have to push the needle to get through. Your fingers will suffer without protection. Yes it takes about 2 hours but it's worth it and I find it a bit therapeutic. Everything gets easier and faster when you get into rhythm and groove with your stitches. Don't be afraid to pull these stitches tight. Make sure they are well tightened. Especially with a baseball jab.
