The wireless range of my iPhone rendered the tester useless. I tested it outdoors and was only able to get a reliable signal up to 20 feet away. Testing inside was even more frustrating, as the tester couldn't reliably work through drywall with a total tester-to-phone distance of 5 feet. If you're buying this tester, like me, with the intention of doing some sort of circuit identification while it's running. I would recommend looking elsewhere.
