I was really hoping that this would be a good addition to the warmth and comfort in my kennel cage this winter but the problems came one after the other. The first one I ordered came with ONE dowel, the product requires TWO. The replacement came and was made very cheaply, my kennel tore an entire dowel cover in 15 minutes. I purchased canvas and hand-sewn canvas covers for both dowels to add durability to the product. After returning to his cage, the pre-drilled holes could not clamp screws that were too small. There is no way to tighten the item so it wobbles and dangles and is unstable when stepped on so he won't use it at all. I could buy new anchors and/or screws but the product is not worth the money or time. I might as well make my own version because the concept was good, but the end result is garbage now.
