In short: is it worth it? Yes. Used it for about 2 months, it is the base of an office chair. It just works. Will I buy again? Yes. Long: I got this for my 15 year old gaming chair to replace the stock composite base that the shock slipped through. After some liberal persuasion with a little, the old base came loose and this fitted in with no problems. The original "Roller Blade" maintenance wheels were also reusable. before the purchase. I did this for stability.
