It definitely helps stabilize our large caravan. Old trailers have jacked up the springs. Our new pendant doesn't rise above the springs and you feel a lot of movement as you move inside. This is particularly noticeable when grandchildren are with us. It definitely helps, but they can't solve all motion transfers in the trailer. I have physical issues but can install or remove these stabilizers while my husband unhooks or connects the balancer coupler. They are very easy to use and do not require much effort. You can twist the top with your fingers to make them start falling, then you need a grip to tighten and push against the hoops. I found the grip worked well for reaching the blocks and bright yellow crayons we use on the outside of the hoops when they're at arm's length. Which is not the intended use. If you take them out, it's the same. The pin starts the process and then you can use your fingers to complete the extraction process and fold down the stabilizers. They are best kept folded tightly with our other gear.
