Review on πŸ”΄ Grifiti Fat Wrist Pad 17 - Red, 4 x 17 x 0.75 Inch Wrist Rest for Standard and Mechanical Keyboards - Enhanced with New Materials by Bernardino Suazo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for mechanical keyboards

This is a cheap neoprene wrist rest made from the same material as Belkin mouse pads and the like. comfort is good. The pad is nice and thick and fits perfectly on my Cooler Master MasterKeys Pro. The material is pleasant on the skin and does not cause irritation. About what you expect. Works great for my use. Also big enough to be a good elbow pad :) However, it removes sweat stains and other dirt from hands quite well. To clean, I wiped mine in the sink with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. Not perfectly clean, but retains its vibrant color longer. In addition, the top layer begins to peel off over time. The stitched edge prevents this, but with a pad this thick it will be difficult. Luckily, they're not very expensive, so replacing them once a year or so isn't a big deal. However, durability should be better than most cheap Chinese pads and supports. A friend of mine used it extensively and it outlasted my Belkin gel pad by about a year or so. The price is a bit high but reasonable. It's just a rubber gasket, so $15 plus possible shipping means you're paying a decent amount of money for essentially a 5-cent piece of rubber. They should be $10 or so at Best Buy, not $15 at Revain. However, no one else makes them to such standards. Many different sizes and colors mean they are great for multiple uses. All in all a respectable product and just what my new keyboard needs. Highly recommend if you need the right size pad for your keyboard. As far as I know they fit S, M and L form factor keyboards as well as mouse pads. A great way to make your computing environment more comfortable and ergonomic without much effort.
