Very nice wood - my new review

This rocker board is not very practical. It’s quite stable, so yes you can work, or do whatever you might be doing, while standing on it. They say "rocking board that moves you more”, it isn’t really, it doesn’t encourage you to move much at all. It doesn’t really encourage much rocking or shifting. Perhaps from an exercise point of view it would be better to wear socks so it is a little slippery and a bit more "challenging” than just standing there. Otherwise it’s basically more clutter…

Pros
  • ‎WRF-S-21770-00
Cons
  • May cause disruptions in a shared office space

Let's rock!: my feedback

The ALLEYOOP Rocker Board works great overall. The board is solid and well-made. It has a decent weight to it. The bottom is nicely carved and allows rocking in many directions. It's easy to use and for a reasonably healthy person, there is little danger of falling off. I don't feel unstable while standing on this board. It feels nice to stand on in shoes or without shoes. I like the way it feels to rock. The bottom has a plastic coating, so that the board doesn't slip all over the place. There…

Pros
  • Premium Quality - The TPU plastic bottom coat won't slip or scuff on any type of flooring. This comfort board is best used on carpet, wood, laminate, and tile floors
Cons
  • Can be loud when in use

This is a very stable board

Although this board is branded as "omni-directional", it tilts better front to back and not side to side due to its shape. This is a really stable board and has a slight rocking motion. This is a good option for those that have standing desks since the slight movements help reduce fatigue without making you feel like you are going to slip and fall. The wood board has a nice weight to it and is laminated all the way around with no rough edges. For my own preference, I wish that the was just a…

Pros
  • I love my rocker board. Something calming about it when I use it at my standing desk. Pretty cool.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to balance on for beginners

I've now used for several weeks at work

So I feel like I can give a proper review (vs. I just took it out of the box and tried it for a couple of days). My work desk is adjustable and I prefer to stand for a good portion of the day. This seemed like a great option to help me work on core and foot/ankle strength. And it is - and I can stand on it for about 1/2 hour or so. But because it is all wood and hard I just don't enjoy standing on it for longer duration at a time. Yes I wear shoes with padding (mostly my running shoes) but I…

Pros
  • Footrests
Cons
  • Can be challenging to clean and maintain

Beautiful wood and functional design

The board itself is exquisite in design and quality. The "maple” two-toned wood is so incredibly gorgeous that you will want to display this piece for others to see the quality in this item. The functionality works well on a hardwood, tile or even carpet floor, easily to manage and maintain your stability by rocking your body/legs back and forth. While this is perfect for any office employee, I have found that it is great for at-home even watching tv and being in your everyday life. I can tell…

Pros
  • ‎Wood
Cons
  • May not be suitable for users with larger foot sizes

Love this Board good for me

I have a standing desk at work and this has changed the work I do work. I constantly got to move and shift without my feet getting tired and I get a ton of compliments for it. I got the grey one and it is AWESOME! made of solid wood and super durable! I would strongly recommend you get one if you're standing all day in the office.

Pros
  • Made of eco-friendly bamboo material, ensuring durability and sustainability
Cons
  • Can be difficult to store in small spaces

Would buy again/Recommend to others

i was hesitant when i purchased it, but once i tried it, i loved it. i tend to stand up for long periods of time during meetings - the board kept my feet moving comfortably so i wasn't pacing. my feet didn't hurt after long use either

Pros
  • Enhances core and leg strength and coordination due to its rocking motion
Cons
  • May not provide enough support for some users

Rad little invention!

My kids use this thing non-stop. I have it out in our living area. They twist on it, try and do a 360* with it while jumping, rock and walk with it, and just simply balance on it. It is such an effective way for all of us to engage our core while just hanging out. It is also really durable. The bottom has a thick plastic cover, adhered super tight, to prevent your floors from getting messed up. It's made from 1 solid piece of wood. The curve is pretty gentle, so even my 6 yr old can use it…

Pros
  • Encourages active engagement during standing activities, reducing sedentary behavior
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with certain types of footwear

I feel safe on my review.

I don't have a standing desk but as I get older I need to work on my balance. I don't want to fall.I was a bit wobbly at first but never felt like I was in any danger of tipping over. Beautiful piece of layered wood, very well made.

Pros
  • Office Furniture & Lighting
Cons
  • May not be durable enough to withstand frequent use

Easy to use on my review.

I was surprised at how well this really works. Board looks like a surfboard turned into a TV trey. Honestly, I looked at this and wasn’t sure what to expect. I have had major back surgery and need to work out pretty regularly in order to maintain the muscles along my spine. However, due to my issues sharp or rapid twisting motions can cause me a great deal of pain. Needless to say looking at this I pretty much thought I would be in for a bad day.Trial, I made Big Burly (my guy) get on this…

Pros
  • Enhances focus and productivity by keeping the body active and engaged while standing
Cons
  • May not be the best fit for all users' posture and stability needs

If you work at a standing desk, you need this.

I made my own standing desk and have been using it for over a year. The one thing you need to combat is foot fatigue. I find myself leaning on the desk to alleviate it for a little while. This helps combat the fatigue you face and helps keep you upright and working. It also works on balance as you rock side to side and front to back. Truly a great addition to my office. I use it all day, every day.

Pros
  • Improves circulation by stimulating the muscles and joints in the lower body
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with vestibular issues or motion sensitivity

Alley-OOP brings movement to standing desks

Standing desks are not new and it seems to have gotten quiet after an initial hype. Turns out that standing all day is not good for you and not for tasks that require fine-motoric motion. However, it is beneficial to intermittently stand and so it should a good idea to also move (a little). Teeter boards (based on springs or curves) are not new, albeit typically for exercise since the instability makes certain task harder or even impossible on the computer. That's where ALLEY-OOP thinks they…

Pros
  • Lowers the risk of injury or falls by training the body to maintain balance and stability
Cons
  • May not work well for all types of work tasks
