These are made of EXTREMELY cheap polyester fabric - think of that really flimsy and plastic-y fabric that Halloween costumes are made out of. It works for beachwear or something you really don't care about, but I certainly wouldn't be trying to wear it on a daily basis.The sizing is also not great, it was surprisingly small for something that claims to fit up to a 3X. Fantastic grip, easy to tighten or loosen. HOWEVER, hard to feed strap which because it does not have a tapered end. You can remedy this by cutting small angle on both sides of the end and sealing cut edge with a lighter (but just barely, do not create a ridge). Feeds effortlessly! Blew over really easily from the wind, and that was just at the pool. Didn't bring it to the beach, but when I was there, I saw someone with the same umbrella and it was blown flat against itself from the breeze, rendering it useless.
