It's okay if there's zero wind.
Blew over really easily from the wind, and that was just at the pool. Didn't bring it to the beach, but when I was there, I saw someone with the same umbrella and it was blown flat against itself from the breeze, rendering it useless. The people weren't even using it at that point. I remarked to my friend that I was glad I hadn't bothered to bring it.That said, nifty carrying case, easy to assemble. Would probably do just fine on a day with no breeze whatsoever.
