I bought these for my mother who has severe arthritis and vein and circulation problems in her legs. She already had a foot massager that heats up and vibrates during the massage. She went where it hurt too much as her legs and calves were in constant pain. they burned. She could hardly walk for several days. Bought as a last resort after reading the reviews. It was very painful for the first few days, but she said it seemed to help. After that she had no problems. Some days are worse than others, but so are rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and vein problems. She has to give herself injections every two weeks, so she is doing her best to continue to function normally. These things work. Don't pay too much for something that is 3-4 times more expensive.
