In theory, this is a great idea. My dad uses a 4 wheel walker to get around and his garage's fire door is a safety hazard as he tries to hold it open and push the walker through the entrance. I wanted a doorstop with a handle so he doesn't have to bend down to put it under the door. This could be improved if the design allowed for a heavier door and a slightly further extending pull handle. He still had to bend down to get it under the door and it wasn't strong enough to support the heavy fire door. It just closed with the door. I suppose this would work fine for a hollow core door, but honestly what's the point? Hollow chamber doors stay open by themselves. Nice idea but not very functional.
