This furniture set is perfect for your back deck or patio! The table and chairs are smaller than they look and you get the idea. However, my 4 and 7 year olds can sit on it just fine. The small chairs recline slightly like Adorondack chairs, which is nice. However, this makes it a bit difficult to sit and eat directly at the table. We usually seat the kids with the table between them on either side, almost like a coffee table, and that works well. Rain fell on the table. and dragged his puppy and he still looks brand new. The plastic is stronger than it looks. The chairs also have drainage holes on the back of the bottom so moisture doesn't linger and become uncomfortable.
