I bought (3) of these to fold. They will work fine, but there are a few issues I'd like to let you know about. PROS: The bamboo looks good and is well built. In general, assembly is quick, easy and uncomplicated. Three pairs of adult shoes fit easily on each shelf, but the boots need to be folded or placed on their side. CONS: The biggest problem is that the supplied wall plugs do not fit into the pre-drilled holes. I tried to "drill" existing holes but was afraid it would compromise the integrity of the tree. After putting two of these together, I decided to buy the correct size dowel pins. When I got home and opened the third box, I found that no screws were included. Instead, there were two packs of the wrong size dowel pins. I didn't want to go back to the hardware store so I rummaged through my parts baskets and found a mixed set (8) of screws that would fit. Overall I'm happy with the result, but be prepared to make some adjustments or purchase additional parts to actually assemble it.
