Its been several months and even after daily play it is still there. It doesnt stick to the rubber very well either. I suggest buying another brand. These resin flower curtain tiebacks are really pretty. However, I wasn't able to use them on the sheers I bought for my daughter's bedroom. Because these tiebacks are resin and connect to a magnet, they are too heavy to use on sheers. You need a heavier curtain for them. I also want to note that there is a lot of rope to tie back a curtain, maybe even long enough to wrap around the curtain twice. I do love this product.
