Review on Neutrogena Dry Touch Sunscreen: Non-Comedogenic & Non-Greasy Protection by Mary Walters

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It burns and stings!

I wanted to try a mineral sunscreen and chose Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Oxide because it's high in Zinc Oxide to protect against UVB and UVA rays. I wasn't expecting anything cosmetically elegant, I suspected it would have a thick consistency, but it also leaves a white sheen (it doesn't live up to the "pure zinc" claims) and doesn't feel dry at all, it definitely leaves a mark Fall a shiny finish on the face. I could live with that, after all I bought the product to use while exercising or gardening outdoors, not for everyday use under makeup. But what I didn't expect was the feeling of burning, tingling and itching on the skin! I have never experienced anything like this with any other sunscreen. I tried it on two different days but the reaction was the same: severe discomfort and the skin remained rough after removing the product. I can be sensitive to any of the ingredients, but that is extremely rare as I have used both chemical and physical sunscreens from different brands and have never had these problems (La Roche Posay, Bioderma, Avéne, Clinique, Clarins).
