These are black cast iron plugs for 3/4" pipe. They can be used for architectural and decorative purposes or for actual plumbing installation. That's neither good nor bad. Burley fittings, like the single caps available at Lowe's.More imposing moldings will stand out more, and these smoother, less obtrusive moldings will likely suit your design better.They're less than half the price of Lowe's..But you should buy 10. As for their use in real ones As for pipe fittings I don't know but a more aggressive cast (Low's) might give the pipe wrench a better grip?But they look good.They are on prime, good value for money, arrived on time and were as described.The seller responded really cared that these are the pipe caps of my dreams :) ok but yeah i'm happy!
