Review on Smarkids Screwdriver Construction Engineering Saurolophus by Steve Waldbillig

To be honest I wasn't sure my 3 year old would be able to play with this but I was pleasantly surprised. I put the pieces together and put a screw in the hole and he actually used a screwdriver to drive the screws in. This really helps develop fine motor skills and will grow with him as the next step is for him to put the pieces together like a puzzle. He really seems to be enjoying it, he actually saw the box and wanted more dinosaurs. When he was done I asked him to unscrew them and then I put all the parts in a plastic bag so we could do it again on another occasion. The only thing I wish they had included instructions. I mean it's generally not hard to figure out which part goes where, but I had some trouble initially seeing which part was worn and I think it would be nice to have something more descriptive showing which parts fit together. . However, we figured it out and it was a lot of fun, and I think it's a great learning tool, and it's currently $11.99. I think it's worth it.
