OK I keep testing impossible cleaning tasks with De-solv-it and I seem to have found one of the ten worst cleaning tasks of all time. Cigarette smoke damage has to be one of the worst things to clean up. De-solv is the only one I have found in conjunction with Windex for removing cigarette smoke. First spray on desolv-it and scrub with a towel and, if necessary, a brush to get into nooks and crannies. You will find the towel turning cigarette yellow or black to show it is dissolving cigarette tar and dirt. But it also leaves an oily film that still has some loose cigarette tar mixed into the oil film. This is where Vindex is used to remove the oil film. For best results, simply spray on Windex or Windex Powerized. This will remove any residual oil and any residual loose cigarette tar that is in the citrus oil.
