It was difficult to assemble just because there are many parts that look very similar to each other but they need to be assembled in a certain way, for example there is an easy one slanted on the legs and I didn't notice that at first, so I put them on backwards because at first glance they looked straight. Not looking carefully at all the parts is largely my fault, although clearer labeling would have helped as well. It does matter which leg is on the left or right, in which direction the individual objects are pointing, etc., which is not necessarily the case with many flat furniture. It really is amazingly durable despite being so cheap and looks great. No complaints!
