Review on ⏱️ Enhance Time Management Skills with Secura 60-Minute Visual Timer: Classroom Countdown Clock, Silent Timer for Kids and Adults - The Perfect Teaching Tool! (Blue) by Veronica Gonzales

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Expensive, looks cheap, stopped working when submerged in water, but I'll buy it again.

Edit: Customer service was perfect. Upgrade from 3 to 5 stars. By the way, I bought a second one. First I want to say that I really liked this thing. I liked it and disliked it because I literally dove in the water for a second and the product stopped working altogether (it may dry up and work in a couple of days but I'm not holding my breath). For almost $20 you'd expect something stronger but even the picture shows it's made out of cheap plastic so I shouldn't have expected it to be amazingly durable and honestly cheap and such. The dainty color is part of its appeal to me - I even got the color blue although I don't think it's the best color lol. because I have a problem: if something is that small in a normal color like white, black or gray, I can easily lose it and accidentally step on it when I need it. It's durable enough that I don't expect it to break like a smartphone if I drop it a few times. But it's cheap enough and I worry about sitting on it because I forgot I left it on my chair. timing of some of my physical rehabilitation exercises that I have to do daily). It's really nice that you only have to turn the dial to where you want to start counting down, and the countdown is relatively accurate if you need to use different time steps (for me it's a 25 minute reading step, from 1 minute to 3 minutes to 6 minutes to 4 minutes to 10 minutes for my rehab) so it's really convenient. While it's NOT EXACTLY like using a numeric timer, it wouldn't do well if you wanted to say exactly 10 minutes and 30 seconds. It will have a margin of error unless you are a literal Rain Man. So if it doesn't bother you as much as I do, then so be it. You can't allocate more than an hour so it's only for short tasks and to be honest I don't use it for more than 25 minutes so I read other reviews that they had problems in the higher time range and I can't speak to what. 1 hour is the limit, so no 3 hour baking projects. I really like the red bike (although again it looks cheap - maybe I grew up with all the expensive cheap stuff you can find at Urban Outfitters where I appreciate things that appear used). I like it as an alternative to always having my phone with me for the sync feature, so it adds a kind of romantic appeal as I transition to a low-tech life with fewer distractions, a fit-for-purpose tool, as opposed to a supercomputer who does all this. better, but tends to lure you into the alluring abyss of endless scrolling. I have another timer that is not so good for Pomodorro because every time I need to change the time I have to press the minute hand 25 times. so I almost need a timer specifically for the 25 minute increment and another timer for 10 and a timer for everyone else so I don't have to get bored to death pressing the damn buttons all the time. and God is a LOUD thing. loud enough that I can easily get a turkey out of the oven, although I play music in my room across the street and you can't adjust the damn volume, so don't use it late at night without worrying about me am going to wake my of people. But this timer cost me less than $10, it's way more powerful, it's made of better case materials, it's more attractive, it comes with its own battery, and it's numeric to the second, so it's dead accurate and you can run for one full 24 hours. However, it won't do what I need for me, so I'll put it in my backpack or car as a last resort if I forget my other timer or watch (it triples if the watch and stopwatch) which I will buy it again because I really like it, although the product itself is pretty average. :) One more thing, for small times like 1 minute, the timer doesn't always start properly, so you should set it to a little longer than 1 minute and listen carefully to see if you hear a tick. And one more thing: the loud setting isn't loud enough when I want to hear it from across the house (and when I want to take a nap and wake up with it), and the low setting seems just right. , but it's too loud to use in a library, and it'll probably be obvious when you're timing at Starbucks, so I think folks who get easily annoyed might get annoyed. or it might spark a conversation, who knows? Anyway, despite this rambling review, I like it enough to shell out a whopping $20 to buy another one (and I shamelessly hope a support rep will get in touch and send me a replacement, so I mean mine review for an excellent customer service!). Unfortunately I hardly used this product for a couple of weeks before dropping it in water and breaking it, so I'm not entirely sure if this product will work well over a long period of time or how long the batteries will last between refills. .
