Sizing is crazy! I bought this dress in Navy Blue for all my bridesmaids for my wedding. My initial reaction when I opened the dresses was that it wasn't quite what I had in mind. After seeing the girls try them one, I was relieved that they looked right. The midsection is what threw me off, bc it looked odd-almost like it was going to look strange on them. However, once it was on them it looked flattering. If you are looking for an inexpensive dress that can accommodate a variety of sizes, this dress is for you. ALL my bridesmaids said they loved it when they tried it on. My only issue with it was the bust area seemed tight. My girls all ordered a size larger than they normally would based off of other reviews and the sizing chart and they still felt like they were squeezing into the dress (in he bust) and yet the belly area was flowy and bigger. It worked out fine, as they prefer it to be that way . So no alterations are needed outside of hemming it at the bottom for the shorter gals. They were delivered folded in a plastic bag inside a single box. I highly recommend your hang it immediately to take out the few wrinkles that are in it from being folded. DO note the dresses seemed really heavy, but for my September wedding it would be fine. Also the sizing on the dresses was not normal. If you order multiple sizes be sure to note IF the package has a size listed. I ordered a Med, 2XL, 3XL and a 4XL. The only 2 that had a label on package for sizing was the Med and XXXL (3XL). However, they had numbered tags at the back of dress which the Med had #2 and so did the 3XL. The 2xl, 3xl and 4xl looked the same exact size when holding them together so I had to rely on packaging to make sure the girls were trying on the right dress! Had the Med not been labeled on the bag it would have been confusing too. Overall though, I am satisfied with the dresses and would recommend them. Be sure to read sizing chart and order accordingly. Allow time to return/exchange if needed. I had to return the 2xl and had zero problems. I was fortunate enough to be able to order the new size without having to wait to exchange it.
