Withstands a lot of explosives but smells awful out of the box
This foam cover does the job. I set it up with a PodMic and it cuts out a lot of explosive noise without sacrificing sound quality. I am very happy with the performance. However, it smells very bad. The smell is strong chemical which gave me a headache 10 minutes after using it. To be fair I just took it out of the bag so I'll leave it out for a while to see if the smell goes away. I'll update the review later to let you know if the smell wears off or not. UPDATE: After taking the case out of the box for a day and taking it out into the wild, the smell is mostly gone. When you receive it, let it air out for a day or two and you will be fine.
